Living Isa58 - Small Group Curriculum
Grant Amount Needed: $10,000
By supporting this project, you will be investing in the education of local parishes and creation of local ministry projects that can significantly transform neighborhoods and churches.
Project Overview
We dream of a day when EVERY ACNA parish is actively engaged in ministry with, and alongside, the vulnerable in their community.
To achieve this vision, we are creating tools and resources that individuals, teams and parishes can access, be inspired by, learn from, share, and leverage as they tangibly love the suffering in their midst.
We are in the process of creating, releasing, and supporting a six-week small group curriculum. Each session will combine biblical foundations, group activities, and reflection questions that will crescendo into envisioning and prioritizing a local ministry the group can start to love her marginalized neighbors.
What if we, as Anglicans, were famous for justice and mercy through tangible acts of love?
Project Impact
As a result of taking and early beta version of this course, one of our parishes is actively looking to create a ministry meeting the greatest needs in their community. Another beta church is asking for additional resources to help them take next steps.
As a precursor to this course, M25i was working with a church using these principals and the rector has stated that these concepts have transformed his parish and their relationship and standing in their local community.
